Payroll Specialist (Bilingual Spanish)

Our client, a well-established food manufacturing company, is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong high-volume payroll experience who enjoys a collaborative, family-oriented work environment and values work-life balance.

Position Details

• Temp-to-hire preferred (direct hire considered)
• $29-32/hr
• Conversion salary target of $60,000-$70,000 annually
• Immediate need

Qualifications

• 3+ years of high-volume, full-cycle payroll experience
• Experience processing payroll for ~500+ employees
• Paylocity experience strongly preferred
• Bilingual Spanish required
• Experience with garnishments and payroll reconciliations
• Experience reconciling staffing agency invoices
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• Multi-state payroll experience
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or environments utilizing both direct and agency labor

Key Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle payroll for approximately 500 employees
• Manage both weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles
• Process payroll for W-2 employees and agency employees
• Administer payroll through Paylocity
• Handle garnishments, payroll audits, and reconciliations
• Reconcile staffing agency invoices for Accounts Payable
• Support multi-state payroll processing
• Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely payroll delivery
